Attend our walk in service

We operate a walk in service at our main clinic in Barking Community Hospital. Walk in at the times below for appointments for STI and HIV testing, short acting contraception and more:

  • Monday 09.00 to 11.30
  • Tuesday 12.00 to 14.30
  • Wednesday 13.00 to 16.00
  • Thursday 09.00 to 11.30
  • Friday 09.00 to 11.30

Doors open 20 minutes before clinic start time.

Emergency Walk In

We hold additional walk in times for people with urgent sexual health needs. People who are pregnant, have been sexually assaulted, need emergency contraception, have been exposed to HIV within last 72 hours/require PEPSE or are under the age of 18 can walk in to Barking Community Hospital at any of the times below:

  • Monday 9am-4pm
  • Tuesday 8:30am-7pm
  • Wednesday 1-7pm
  • Thursday 9am-4pm
  • Friday 9am-4pm

Appointments

We offer appointments for Long Acting Contraception (implant, IUD/coil and injection), and some sexual health services.

Appointments are released online Monday to Friday at 08.00 three weeks ahead for long-acting reversible contraception (implant, IUD/coil), and Monday and Tuesday at 08.00 24 hours ahead for limited sexual health appointments.
